Know The Basic Theory of Color Before Painting the Walls of Your House

The first step in understanding of color is to learn about the basic attributes and how they can be used to achieve dramatic and effective color design. There are three attributes of color, hue or color, value or lightness, chroma or saturation. The three attributes of color are what defines every color. Hue is the name for a color, such as yellow, red, blue, green. We used the color wheel to represent the basic hues of the visible spectrum. To simplify, the most common color wheel is made up of 12 color gradations, but there are actually an infinite number of gradations possible on the wheel.
The second attribute of a color is value, or the relative lightness or darkness of a color. Lighter value is achieved by adding white to a color, and vice versa, darker value results from adding black.
The third attribute of color is chroma, or saturation, the relative purity, or intensity of a color determined by how much or how little gray is added to the color. The value of the colors on a chroma scale do not change, only the intensity of the colors varies.
Other terms that useful to a basic understanding of color theory are tint, shade, and tone. These are colors of full intensity or chroma mixed with white, black or gray.

Guiding Our Children To Be Creative

Without realizing it we often create an environment that makes the children are not creative. For example, more children watch TV or play computer games. Try to occasionally let the kids play on their own without a television or other game gadgets. If left alone, the children are often very creative and often more creative than we are.

It is true that children need the knowledge and skills, but they also need to learn how to think creatively, which is to create new ideas from scratch. Creativity is an essential life skill. If the teachers in the school lacks in teaching children creativity, you can actually do it at home. So turn off the TV, turn off the computer games and invite your child to play a game that requires creativity. If you do not have your own ideas, you can find ideas from books, from the library or the internet to get ideas for your child to be able to perform activities that require creativity.
Try to do some of these activities:
  1. You can invite children to do activities outside the home. Encourage them to go outside and play.
  2. Try to make a craft. Put paper, scraps, glue, knick-knacks, markers, crayons, rubber bands, paper clips, buttons, thread, and other things that you can find on the table. Encourage your children to make something as simple as a butterfly or toy cars.
  3. Making things out of wood. Children love making things out of wood. Help them make a bird house. Use a draft of a book or from the internet. Make a small box with a roof, holes, and stick to perch and hang it on the tree and now the kids can watch the birds happy.
  4. Experiment with science. Find directions from the internet or a book how to make bell or electric motors of trash such as cans, wire, screws. Then create a race and they might be surprised to see who wins. If they could figure out why they lost and where lies the problem, one day they will learn it in a physics lesson.
There are many other creative activities that you can explore yourself.

Is It True That Homeschooling Is Better Than Public Schools

Children have difficulty dealing with new school
Entering a new school is certainly a fun and exciting experience for children. Stressful because they are worried about the environment, friends, teachers, as well as new lessons they would find. Some children can pass through easily, but not a few also who find it difficult. As parents we can help children by increasing the child's confidence so that he would no longer feel inadequate to deal directly with the new "environment". Do not forget, to teach children to be careful in conveying the message to the people around him. Additionally ask the child to tell the experience about new environment. Be a good listener and do not judge if he (accidentally) made a mistake, encourage him to seek the best solution. Remember to always keep an attitude. For example, to get used to saying "Thank You", "Please", and "Sorry".

Homeschool Versus Public School
If the child is still having trouble in public school, may homescholing could be an alternative solution, although there are still pros and cons of homeschooling. Most people think that homeschooling children are not socialized properly. And if the teachers are supposed to do the socializing, why can not parents? Every homeschooling family has as many, if not more, extracurricular activities for their kids as everyone else, such as scouts, Jiu Jitsu, music lessons, art lessons, metal working, speech and debate, sports and more. The most important difference in home-school socialization is that the social values taught come from the parents instead of the state. With homeschooling, parents would believe that a child is in a quiet and safe environment every day. Homeshooling advocates believe that children do well in a safe and comfortable environment that they are familiar with. It is believed by proponents of homeschooling is that the home is the safest, most secure environment in which children can learn well. When a child is home, he does not have to deal with peer pressure. This gives children the opportunity to focus more on learning. They do not have to worry about what to wear to school the next day, they are protected from having to fit in with the popular crowd who gave much attention to the things that are less important as buying the right clothes at the right store, wearing the right shoes or playing video games appropriate. With homeschooling, the kids can enjoy the peace and quiet. Not only that, they also can work in their own pace and in their own style. However, public school advocates also believe that the same proved true with students who attended public schools. Although public school classrooms do not have the same serenity and peaceful atmosphere that has homeschooling, public school advocates believe that the chaotic atmosphere of the classroom actually helps children succeed in the future. Because in reality, the real world is not so quiet and peaceful as we would like it to be. They believe that the children are very sheltered and protected life chances of people who would have trouble adjusting to the real world after school. They also believe that it is important that children learn how to interact and cooperate with each other for them to be able to build a real, dynamic skills needed in the real world. Public school supporters strongly believe that the purpose of public education is not just about one's academic resume. They said the mission of public schools is to teach children skills and be able to use and apply them through meaningful interactions with fellow needed and their teachers. Choose to send your child to a public school or homeschool is a big decision to make which is why it may be better to examine the benefits of each option before making any decision. Remember that you will make a choice that must ultimately be based on what is best for your child, as well as for you.

Nutritional Intake for Pregnant Women for Healthy Fetal Growth

Be careful when taking medication, some types of sleeping pills and anti-nausea drugs, including thalidomide (a sedative kind) are consumed in early pregnancy, shown to cause defects in the hands and feet, such as a bulge because the meat did not reach the length and shape of the body properly. Streptomycin in the treatment of tuberculosis that can cause disruption in the ears. Or chloramphenicol can make fetal bone marrow is damaged, until the baby is born will experience blood disorders and skin disorders known as the gray syndrome. Herbs and fertility drugs are not controlled, it can also be bad. Containing DES (diethyl bestrol), for example, was likely to cause genital abnormalities in the bottom. Ranging from no formation of the vaginal, until the child is exposed to the possibility of vaginal cancer later when she gets older.
At week 6, the organs also began to develop at this gestational age is wrapping nerves. Folic acid deficiency, or acute anemia, can cause fetal fetus having a neural tube defect (neural tube disorders), with no formation of partial fetal spine to the head and brain of the fetus.
Starting at week 12, the system has a central skeleton bone formation / bone ossification at most and will hold calcium very quickly, so the bones become harder.Calcium intake should be met by pregnant women.
In the second trimester is characterized by accelerated growth and maturation of function throughout tissue and organ of the body. But beware of excessive weight gain. Starting at week 20, the need of blood for fetal also increased sharply. So as not anemia threatening of pregnancy, the mother had to be self sufficient in iron intake, either through the consumption of a balanced nutritious diet and supplements that the doctor recommended.
Starting at week 22, the mother is very enjoyed for complaints of nausea, vomiting has passed and now it is being passionate appetite, so she must be careful not happen excess weight gain.

Fetal Development Stage In The Uterus

Human embryos who were aged around 1-24 days, attached to the uterus (womb) mother, like as 'leeches' stuck to the skin. Similarly to 'leech' who obtained the blood of its host, the human embryo is also obtained from the mother's blood during pregnancy. When comparing with the freshwater leech embryos at an early stage embryo, Professor Moore, a professor Emeritus of the University of Toronto, Canada, anatomy and embryology expert, found that a lot of similarities in both. He concluded that the embryo during this stage has an appearance very similar to the leech. At this stage, the embryo get food by sucking the blood of his mother, just like leeches. The embryo during this stage "hang" in the uterus (womb) of his mother

Professor Moore says we found the outside appearance of the embryo during this stage as the appearance of a blood clot, a large number of blood-forming embryos. Also during this stage, the blood in the embryo does not circulate until the age of embryos reaching the end of week three. So the embryo at this stage is similar to a blood clot.
Here is a simple table stages of fetal development per week.

Week #
 Growth
1
Rapidly moving spermatozoa from the vagina to the uterus, and then into the fallopian tubes so that fertilization occurs.
2
estimated size of 0.1-0.2 mm embryo
3
In this week, the forerunner of the vascular system and the nervous system begin to form. In fact, in the last days when the forerunner of the fetal heart begins to form, the embryo has reached the size of 1.5-2.5 mm. Overall, in this week has been found the genetic material, including hair color, eye shape, and the intelligence of the baby.
4
Heart began to throb and circulatory system is performing its function, though still in its early stages is very simple. Placenta was also formed at this week.
5
The digestive system is perfectly characterized by increasingly real distinction between the forerunner of the large intestine and appendix. Even the forerunner of the kidneys and the liver was already formed.
6
Currently embryo estimated size of about 7-9 mm.
7
This week also begins the process of ossification body. While the boundaries between the forerunner curved vertebrae and ribs, just appear as elongated grooves. So also in the shoulder joint, hip, and knee began to appear.
8
Although still weak, the beginning of a whole body frame has been completed in this week. All the organs of the body also starts to work, though not perfect. This frail body began to move erratically, which when added an average of 60 times in an hour movement.
9
When the male gender, in this age can be clearly ascertained. While female are still occasionally dubious.
10
Began functioning of the nervous system, the fetus is able to do reflex. Foot is able to perform kicking motion.
11
The fetus has now been able to change its position by rotating, elongated, curled, or even somersault often painful sensation while providing happiness.
12
This week the skeletal system in the body has a central bone formation / bone ossification at most.
13-27
Fetal length (from crown to sacrum / buttocks) is estimated to be 65-78 mm with a weight of approximately 20 grams.
External genitalia are also growing more real, to more easily distinguish gender.
Pregnancy increasingly visible, for the convenience of the mother and the fetus, so it is recommended to start wearing maternity clothes.
At this age the fetus produces alfafetoprotein, a protein that is only found in the blood of pregnant women. When excessive levels of this protein could be a sign of serious problems in the fetus, such as spina bifida, a congenital disorder that is associated with the spinal cord. In contrast, low levels of alfafetoprotein associated with Down syndrome.
Starting at age 18 weeks, the interactive relationship between the mother and the fetus increasingly interwoven. Not surprisingly, every time the mother happy, sad, hungry or feel anything else, the fetus was feeling the same thing.
At week 22, the estimated weight of 400-500 grams and reaches a length of about 19 cm, the mother is increasingly able to adapt to pregnancy. Fears of miscarriage has also been dashed.
At age 26 weeks, birth weight is expected to reach nearly 850 grams, with the length of the buttocks and the top of the head about 23 cm. The heartbeat is clearly audible, normally 120-160 beats per minute. Abnormal heart rate should be observed because it is quite possible there is a symptom of a serious complaint.
28-40
At the age of 37 weeks, with a length of 47 cm and a weight of 2950 grams, at this age babies born is said to be ready, because the whole function of his organs could be to work alone. Usually the baby's head into the birth canal, the position ready for birth. Although a small portion of the breech position.
At age 40 weeks, the length in the range of 45-55 cm and weighs about 3300 grams. Months really enough and ready to be born. If male, testicles descend into the scrotum, while in female, the labia majora (outer genital lips) are well developed and covers the labia minora (inner genital lips).
